Luto was formed in 2004 from a research team at the University of Leeds

Luto (Leeds University Testing Organisation) was founded in 2004 by Professor Theo Raynor and Dr Peter Knapp from the University of Leeds, where they are amongst the leaders in the world in the field of Consumer Medicines Information.

Luto was a ‘spin out’ company from the University of Leeds and still maintains strong links with academia and looks to reflect the latest insights from research in the work it undertakes with clients.

The company has extensive experience in the field of User Testing and has conducted over 600 user and usability studies for clients throughout the European Union covering all types of submission procedures. Luto has also built a condition related database of over 10000 participants and therefore can move at speed to fulfil clients needs.

Quality is one of the very few dedicated user testing companies with ISO 9001 accreditation. Luto employs and trains its own staff to conduct testing so that standards are maintained.
