Matty joined Luto as a Research Assistant in 2020.
He holds a Psychology with Philosophy degree from the University of Leeds and has nearly completed his MA Design course at the same university.
Throughout his MA, Matty specialised in information and instructional design, where he decided to undergo a project that tackled the recovery stages of colorectal surgery. This particular project covered a wide range of user-centred research and testing techniques, ensuring the end design solution was successful in improving patient health and the communication of information between medical staff on the colorectal surgery ward.
At Luto, Matty uses his research and design techniques to effectively recruit new participants for testing, as well as conduct interviews for a range of projects.
